The goal of the competition team is to support the desire of intense training and great reward for working hard. Dance competitions are not just about trophies—they are a structured learning experience that accelerates a dancer’s technical, artistic, and personal growth. While awards are a fun part of competition, the real value is in the life skills dancers develop—discipline, responsibility, teamwork, confidence, commitment, and the ability to receive feedback and keep improving. Audition Process
House of Dance Competition Team Auditions are open to all!
Auditions for the 2026-2027 Competition Team will be held on JULY 30th from 6-7:30PM

Audition Fee: $45 per dancer (this covers registration fee and competition team photoshoot)

Competition Rules, Regs, and Expectations
All general studio rules apply to the competition team!
Other Important Expectations:
Competition Team members must commit to the entirety of the season
Competition Team members must take recreational classes associated with the competition style they select (included in the competition pricing)
Competition Team members must purchase competition gear
Competition Team members must compete at a minimum of 3 competitions with routines, but have an option to compete in more throughout the season, including Nationals.
